Content objectif
This course will cover the basics of quantum information science from a computer science perspective. The main objectives are to achieve familiarity with the formalism of quantum information, the models of quantum computation, standard algorithms, basic information processing tasks and error correction. The basics of Shannon’s (classical) information theory will also be introduced.
Content prerequis
Linear algebra, basic probability, basic algorithms and analysis of algorithms.
