The tENSors team won the challenge Défi IA 2020

A team from our M2, the tENSors team won the IA 2020 Challenge.

This year, INSA Toulouse proposed a challenge on artificial intelligence in collaboration with Airbus. The aim was to detect anomalies using data from sensors located on helicopters. From this data we had to develop an artificial intelligence capable of detecting such anomalies. The difficulty was that there was no pre-classification, that is, we did not have access to examples of anomalies and our algorithm had to determine them. Until then, such analyses were carried out by specialized engineers who observed the data to detect anomalies. Therefore, it becomes essential to automate this task for both performance and accuracy reasons, given the quantity of measurements to be processed. We approached this challenge with enthusiasm since it represented a real challenge for us because of the industrial stakes involved.
